More pickled peppers!

Pepper pickling is get old!

Katherine picked the peppers from the back lawn (at the city house) as well as sorted through the peppers we brought back from the farm last weekend and did up another batch of pickled peppers!

I believe that she actually gave these big ones away to the neighbors!  She was getting tired of processing peppers!

They look pretty!  I wish I could eat peppers!

14 pints here - one in the fridge.

Peppers and beans

Pepper harvest

I harvested some of the ripest bell peppers from the raised beds today.  Here are some pictures:

There are more peppers on the plants, just not ripe yet.  Also, I haven't harvested any of the jalapeno peppers yet.

Katherine cleaned and sliced the peppers.  I pickled and canned them.  12 pints in all.

Shell beans

While Katherine processed the peppers, I finished shelling the velour shell beans.  I got a pretty good quart freezer bag full.  I will have many more to plant next year.

I will place these in the freezer to kill any worms or things before I use them.
